Houston Wine Tour Fun Run sponsored by Audi Central Houston

Houston ACLS members gathered at Montgomery Coffee Company early on a beautiful Sunday morning, March 26, 2017

Participants were given a brief drivers’ meeting to orient those not familiar with our Fun Runs, and the line-up was formed for the start of a beautiful tour through the Sam Houston National Forest, lead by Tod Phillips.

After an exhilarating jaunt through the forest, we arrived at Lake Conroe, and paused briefly for a photo and a beautiful view of the shimmering water, before proceeding to the Conroe Executive Airport for lunch provided by Audi Central Houston.

At the Black Walnut Cafe on the top level of the airport, we enjoyed dining al fresco, and watching the executive jets and private aircraft arriving and departing. Thank you Danny Posey for the delicious lunch provided by Audi Central Houston!

The group then visited Cork This! Winery back in Montgomery, for a bit of wine tasting and getting to know new members, out-of-town guests, and renewing old friendships.

We want to give a special thanks to our volunteer organizers – Tod Phillips, Calvin Gorriarin, and Tom Eng for their cooperative effort in organizing our Fun Run! See more pictures and videos on our Facebook page
