My passion for cars began as a child. My father was a Corvette guy, and some of my earliest memories are of attending car shows, race events, and “helping” him turn wrenches. It was in elementary school where I first began to recognize Audi as a car I favored. My best friend’s dad drove an A8, my little league coach drove an A6, and the mother of my third grade crush drove an A4 Cabriolet.

In April 2007 I stumbled upon a CPO 1.8T A4 quattro. I was looking at a VW GTI at the lot next door, and once the A4 caught my eye I had to go for a test drive. I was floored by the grip, interior quality, and overall driving experience – I was hooked. I drove the car home that day, and still have it 10 years later.

I love to tinker and began to add various modifications as items failed, wore out, or I simply had the urge to replace. The engine, brakes, suspension, and drivetrain have all been addressed, with many of the modifications coming from other Audi vehicles. The fuel injectors from a TT, brakes and clutch from a B5 S4, sway bars and end links from a B7 RS4, and a steering rack from a B6 S4 just to name a few. The addition of these modifications as well as many other have turned a good car into a great car that is fun to drive around town, and also on a race track.

Besides the Audi, I also have a 2017 Ford Mustang GT with the Performance Package, and an all-original 1983 Chevrolet Silverado. I have a long-term plan of further modifying the Audi into a dedicated track vehicle to combine my passion for road racing and the Audi brand.  I am a lifetime fan, and look forward to owning many more Audis in the future.
