We met in Houston during the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. We are originally from Chile, but Texas has been our home for over 25 years. In the middle of 2014 we started shopping for new cars and visited many brands’ dealerships throughout Houston. But there was something about the Audis: their look, comfort, space, the “feel” and “handling”, the technology, the power, and of course, the safety. We were sold! In December 2014 we became Audi owners of a 2015 A4 and 2015 Q7. That was just the beginning of a new “ride”.
Since then, we have become members of Audi Club Lone Star and Audi Club North America, where we have found a new family… Audi Sport… Car Racing fans! We were fortunate to be part of one of the most amazing car racing experiences, the Lone Star Le Mans – Circuit of the Americas in Sept 2015. Having full access to the Audi VIP Club thru the entire race week, we met and shared time with the Audi race team, drivers and engineers of the R18 E-Tron prototypes, and the entire Audi LMS team. While at the 6 hour race, we were taking a tour through the Audi R18 pits when the R18 made a pit stop and driver exchange. Live action to the fullest! The experience was amazing.
We would love to visit the Audi manufacturing plants, and driver training facilities, in the USA and Europe. We are excited about the future of Audi and what it would bring in the near future with new models, and new technology.
